Let’s make the famous tacos at home with an Indian Twist. The use of Project Fresh Shudh Chakki Atta makes this recipe a totally healthy breakfast and snack option.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Project Fresh Shudh Chakki Atta
- 1 bowl chopped vegetables of your choice
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 large boiled potato
- 2 tablespoons of butter/ghee
- To taste salt and pepper
Steps:
- To begin the recipe, let’s first make the taco base i.e. the chapatti. To make this you need a cup of Project fresh Shudh Chakki Atta. Put the atta in a mixing bowl and gradually add the water and make soft dough.
- Once the dough is ready, sprinkle some oil over it and keep it aside to rest for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, we will prepare the stuffing for our tacos.
- Take a mixing bowl and add the boiled potatoes in it. Mash the potatoes well.
- Add the chopped veggies of your choice. Now add some salt and pepper and give it a good mix.
- The next step will be to roll out the chapattis. With the help of your rolling board and pin roll out some chapatti. You can sprinkle some dry atta on the board if you like. Cook the chapatti 70-80%.
- Now take a chapatti, spread evenly 2 tablespoon of each (tomato ketchup and mayonnaise).
- Spread half of the stuffing on the half chapatti and fold it like a wrap.
- Like this, make the other too.
- Take a tawa/grilling pan, spread some butter on it and place both the tacos on it.
- Cook them from both the sides on the low-medium flame so that they become crunchy.
- Sprinkle some namkeen on the tacos.
- And your Chapatti Tacos are ready.
Serve it hot and enjoy it with a cup of tea or coffee.
