Small and easy to bite on cupcakes, leaving you satisfied and still hungry to have more. Serve them as a snack along with a warm cup of milk.
Preparation Time: 50 minutes
Serves 6
Ingredients:
1 cup Project Fresh Shudh Chakki Atta
1 cup Project Fresh Special Premium Maida
1 cup Ripe Bananas, mashed
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
3/4 cup Canola Oil
Flax Meal(Alternative for eggs)
1-1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/4 cup Walnuts, toasted
1/2 cup Dark chocolate, chopped [any dark chocolate brand that you like to eat]
Steps:
- To begin making the Banana Walnut and Chocolate Chip cupcakes, first preheat the oven to 175 C and prepare the cupcake tray by lining them with cupcake liners. You can bake the cake without the liners, just make sure to grease and flour the tray before using. Also get all the ingredients ready and keep them aside.
- In the large bowl or the bowl of the stand mixer with the paddle attachment, beat the butter (oil), sugar and flax meal together until well combined.
- Gradually add in the Project Fresh Shudh Chakki Atta and Project Fresh Special Premium Maida, baking powder, vanilla essence and mashed bananas. Beat them all together until well combined for about 3 minutes. Finally fold in the walnuts and the chocolate chips.
- Spoon in the cake batter into the cupcake tray and set it into the oven to bake. Bake for about 12- 15 minutes or until done by inserting a toothpick or knife at the center and it should come out clean.
- Turn off the oven and remove the cupcakes from the oven and allow them to cool.
